ANC and government confirm Dlamini’s hospitalisation

JOHANNESBURG- The office of Deputy Minister in the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development Sdumo Dlamini has confirmed that he has been hospitalized.
ANC Deputy Secretary-General Jessie Duarte also confirmed at a media briefing today that Dlamini had been admitted to hospital after “taking seriously ill” but could not confirm if it was poisoning.
Earlier Africa News 24-7 broke the news of Dlamini’s hospitalization. Impeccable sources close to Dlamini said they suspected Dlamini had been poisoned as he was “very healthy” but mysteriously fell sick.
In a statement, Dlamini’s spokesman Reggie Ngcobo said Dlamini was on leave after being admitted to hospital for “severe headache”.
“In consultation with the family and the visits we have had we are pleased to inform you that he’s recuperating very well, hence he tendered his apologies to the relevant authorities on all official engagements.”
“The family and the doctors request privacy while they are attending to him,” Ngcobo said.
