PORT ELIZABETH, February 6 (ANA) – The trial against two men charged with the murder of 12-year-old Aliya “Angel” Tee will resume in the Port Elizabeth High Court on Tuesday.
Nealon Redhouse, 18, and Deon Harmse, 24, pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, attempted murder, housebreaking with intent to commit murder and the possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
Redhouse and Harmse are accused of killing Angel in cold blood at her Barberry Drive home in Bethelsdorp in June 2016. The court heard how the Grade 7 prefect pleaded with them not to shoot seconds before the fatal shot.
The two are also charged with the attempted murder of her father, Edmund, who was wounded and subsequently paralysed following the attack.
