JOHANNESBURG, March 15 – A 58-year-old Limpopo shopkeeper was granted R4000 bail by the Groblersdal Magistrate’s Court on Thursday for allegedly raping his 25-year-old employee, police said.
Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said the suspect made his first court appearance on Monday.
“It is alleged that the victim was raped by her 58-year-old employer…on Tuesday 6 March 2018. She was working at the suspect’s shop in the Groblersdal CBD,” Moatshe said.
“He unsuccessfully tried to rape her again after two days and he immediately dismissed her from work.”
