Former Ambassador to the republic of Cuba and the former provincial secretary of the South African Communist Party (SACP) in Limpopo, Justice Piitso has withdrawn from the ANC list of candidates to serve in parliament.
“I take this humble opportunity to inform branches and the general membership of the ANC especially from my province of Limpopo, that I have withdrawn my name from the list of candidates to serve in parliament
“After consultation with the Secretary General of the ANC Cde Ace Magashule, I have decided to remain to be part of the collective of cadres to assist in his office”, said Piitso.
Piitso further thanked the ANC and said that he is confident that the party will get an overwhelming majority in the next coming elections.
“I really from the bottom of my heart thank the membership of the ANC for the confidence they have shown on me and confident that together, we shall continue to serve in the best interest of the wishes and the aspirations of our people to attain the tremendous task of building a better future for humanity”, he said.
